Greater livewell stocking densities (more lbs. of fish) always require larger doses of oxygen. Larger doses of oxygen always reduce oxygen cylinder time.

Galvanic Corrosion: Causes that white powdery corrosion commonly seen on aluminum oxygen regulators made with aluminum alloys and zinc internal parts. Oxygen regulators made with aluminum metal alloys always have problems with Galvanic Corrosion damage especially when exposed to salt, used in marine environments.
Aluminum oxygen regulators exposed to salty ambient air, bait and fish livewell supplements containing electrolytes (salt) and especially internal Zinc components are at additional risk developing Galvanic Corrosion problems. More combinations of metals alloys insure more Galvanic Corrosion problems. Our 30-day “Generic” oxygen regulator Product Warranty does not cover regulator malfunction/failure caused by Galvanic Corrosion.
Our oxygen system Components are Chemically Cleaned and “Certified for Pure Oxygen Service” @ 50 PSI. Our “Generic” Oxygen Regulators are back-pressure compensate to insure O2 dose accuracy. All OE regulators have internal pressure relief safety devices that prevent accidental over-pressurization and rupture.
